A Handbag Series

A Series of three handbags, each exploring form through transformation, interaction, and structure

Constrained Drape, Latent Volume, and the Space in between

01 Space Between Time

This piece explores precision and repetition through laser-cut construction. A chain-link structure is formed from digitally calibrated components, assembled with minimal stitching, allowing the structure itself to define elegance and form

02 Latent Volume

Latent Volume examines form as something activated through wear. Composed of a circular core defined by curved lines and restrained by a rigid, linear structure, the piece shifts depending on how it is held. Designed to be worn in two ways, the bag reveals either its circular or rectangular form through movement and human interaction.

03 Constrained Drape

This piece transforms a flat, two-dimensional surface into a three-dimensional form, inspired by childhood memories of reconstructing straw wrappers. Designed to be worn crossbody, the bag collapses into a compact square, exploring how pressure, containment, and weight shape volume while maintaining an architectural outline.
